Why Thom Tillis, Pat McCrory and Art Pope worry about Moral Monday

I’ve always been a little incredulous as to why some NC GOP leaders were worried about Moral Monday—especially Art Pope who  has made efforts to discredit the movement.

At last Monday’s event, I snapped some video and when I was editing it…it hit me like a ton of bricks why they are so worried.  And, worried they should be.

This isn’t a black or white issue. This isn’t a Democrat or Republican issue. And this isn’t a poor versus rich issue.

Take a look at this video, it’s only 1 minute long, and in it you will see a little bit of everything. Black people and white people coming together, people with money and people without, Republicans, Democrats, unaffiliated and independents all coming together and joining in a movement because they believe the NC GOP is moralistically wrong.
